The RE Committee is happy to report a great start to our Fall classes. If you have not yet turned in a registration form for your child(ren), please do so. Registration forms are available through RE committee members, classroom teachers and volunteers, and the information table. We ask that parents complete a new registration each autumn.

We are continuing into October with some favorite events returning from last year.

  • On Sunday, October 6, Mary Burruss and Kathryn Beaton are hosting a peace picnic for the children during the 11 am Meeting for Worship. Children will play peace games and explore what it means to build peace.
  • On October 27, children are invited to come to Meeting in Halloween costumes, and will be collecting money to support UNICEF at the Rise of Meeting. Please bring cash and coins to donate.
  • November 3rd – Save the date! We welcome families to attend RE at the Clearing on November 3rd at 11 am. While adults will meet for worship outdoors, Al Best will lead the children in a morning of nature exploration. Pack a bag lunch and enjoy additional time together in this special place. If you are in need of directions or a ride, please ask! There will be a nursery and one all-ages class at the Meeting house on Kensington Ave to offer caregivers a choice of venue.

We are looking for a positive, engaging volunteer to teach our PreK/K class one to two Sundays each month. Planning would be in cooperation with another teacher and an assistant teacher. Please speak to a member of the RE committee if interested.
