On Sunday, January 26, at 9:30 am in the Community Room, ASE offers the final program in this round of Quakerism 101: Quakers in the Wider World.
Members and attenders of Richmond Friends Meeting not only provide ministry, pastoral care, education, and service for our meeting community, but many are active in organizations that empower positive action beyond the local community. In this fourth and last session of Quakerism 101, we’ll look at the work of organizations such as Baltimore Yearly Meeting, Friends General Conference, and Friends United Meeting, as well as organizations like Quaker Earthcare Witness, Friends Committee on National Legislation, Quaker House, American Friends Service Committee, and Friends World Committee for Consultation.
Where and When: Sunday, January 26 at 9:30 am in the Community Room. If the technology to enable Zoom participation is in place by then, which we hope for but cannot count on, we’ll announce. Otherwise, in person.
Who: Kelly Kennedy DiPasquale will facilitate Friends with experience in these organizations: Levi Goren, Diane Bowden, Barb Adams. And all of you!
Childcare: Provided upstairs starting at 9:15.
Bring your own coffee! We look forward to seeing you there!
