The Adult Spiritual Education Committee will host a one-hour Reading Between the Lines
(formerly known as Bible Workshop) on First Day, Sept. 1, from 9-10 am, through Zoom. We
will discuss Mark 7:18, 14-15, 21-23: the danger of “teaching human precepts as doctrine.” Jesus
challenges the Pharisees and scribes on “rejecting the commandment of God in order to keep
your tradition!”

The facilitator will send the Zoom link through the Newslist several days before
the meeting.
