Reserving The Clearing<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The Clearing<\/strong> may be reserved for day use or for overnights by a single person, a family or a group. When you use The Clearing, you and your group will be the only ones on the grounds.\u00a0 If you have questions, please Contact Us<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/a> to send an email before<\/i> requesting a reservation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

  1. \u00a0Confirm availability<\/b><\/em><\/span> (calendar below) for your desired dates. Be aware that your date may have already been requested by another group.\u00a0 If your dates are flexible you can give an alternate date on the reservation form. Individuals and groups not affiliated with Richmond Friends Meeting can make use of The Clearing only once per calendar quarter.

    1. Determine rental fees<\/span><\/span><\/a> and request an online reservation<\/span><\/a><\/em><\/span><\/b>.\u00a0 We need contact information for you, the dates and times you are requesting, plus some basic information about your group and how you will use our facilities to make sure we can meet your needs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

      Request an Online Reservation<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

      3. Receive approva<\/strong>l from our scheduler via email.\u00a0 If you or the scheduler have additional questions they can be answered by email.\u00a0 Once your request has been approved we will add your event to the calendar as a \u201chold,\u201d and you have two (2) weeks to secure your reservation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

      1. Secure your reservation. <\/b>Your reservation will only be secured when we have received the Hold Harmless Form and your rental fee payment.\u00a0 There are two options for doing this:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. Paper: Print the Hold Harmless form<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a>, fill it out, sign it, and mail it with a check made out to \u201cRichmond Friends Meeting<\/em>\u201d with \u201cClearing Use<\/em>\u201d and the date of use on the memo line. Mail to: Clearing Scheduler, Richmond Friends Meeting\/Clearing, 4500 Kensington Avenue, Richmond, VA 23221<\/em><\/li>\n
            2. Online: Print\/sign\/scan the Hold Harmless form and email it to the Scheduler. You will receive an electronic invoice which you may pay online (plus 3% processing fee) or you may mail your payment as instructed above.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
