RACE TO PEACE and support Quaker House
Quaker House provides counseling and support to service members who are questioning their role in the military; educates them, their families, and the public about military issues; and advocates for a more peaceful world. On October 24, at the Rise of Meeting, let’s gather and walk as participants in the Race to Peace event to raise money for Quaker House. Sign up and pay a $20 registration fee for the virtual race at: https://runsignup.com/Race/NC/Fayetteville/TheQuakerHouse5KPeaceRace There will be 2 routes: 1) A 3.4 mile loop where we will walk from the Meetinghouse up Grove Avenue to Libbie and return down Patterson. Or 2) A 1.4 mile loop where we will walk from the Meetinghouse up Grove Avenue to Wisteria Ave and return down Patterson. (A map is attached) Wear Your Richmond Friends T‐Shirt if you have one!. Quaker House will send you a 5K Peace Race T‐Shirt too!
